500 East Main is a mixed-income residential housing community located in Durham, NC. The community includes 195 studio, one, two, and three-bedroom units in a five-story, elevatored building. Parking for tenants is provided in an adjacent parking garage and included in the cost of their rent. The community will serve households with incomes at 80% of area median income and below.

Unit amenities include washer and dryer hook-ups in every unit, dishwashers, refrigerators with icemakers, microwave ovens, large closets, and vinyl plank flooring in living rooms and kitchens.  Community amenities will include on-site tenant storage, a private courtyard area for exterior recreation, on-site parking, a community room, a fitness center, on-site property management and maintenance, a playground, and community laundry facilities.
