Park Terrace Apartments is the award-winning redevelopment of the former Clara Cox Homes, a now demolished High Point Housing Authority (HPHA) public housing community. HPHA has worked with the Laurel Street team on this effort since 2007. All three phases of the revitalization effort are complete and include 250 affordable units for families, comprised of one, two, and three-bedroom garden apartments and three-bedroom townhouses.
The development includes a community building with management offices, a computer center, a community room, a fitness room, and laundry facilities. Additionally, the site amenities include a pool, gazebos, picnic areas, a picnic shelter, outdoor sitting areas, children’s playgrounds, and a walking trail. Units include fully equipped kitchens, washer and dryer connections, patios/porches, comfortable living spaces, closets, and storage.
